As the summer break inches closer, you may be wondering how to keep entertained this season with restrictions on outdoor activities and travel still holding strong. We are here to help with indoor summer activity ideas to last you through the break!

Below you will see 7 sections with suggested activities you can partake in this summer. Before reading though the sections, download and print out our handy summer calendar for the months of July and August. You can use this to plan out your summer by noting down activities you would like to try on specific days.

Note: Try to write down 2 to3 ideas per week so that you do not exhaust all the options too quickly and still have exciting activities to look forward to all summer long!

ALTRUISM

  • Volunteer your Time: Connect with a reputable organization and ask how you can volunteer from home. It could be research, writing, creating art, reading, etc.
  • Foster an Animal: Many animal shelters are overwhelmed with cats, dogs and other pets waiting to be adopted. You can be their temporary home for a few weeks!
